The field trip
The formation of a stack need a long process. First is the formation of a cave formed by the forces of the sea, waves erode the rock face of a coast line, produce huge caverns. Then, already existing caves are continously eroded by coastal erosion and the water starts to widen the cave. Further erosion of the cave will result in a natural arch when the wave's erosional power cuts through the headland. Next, wave energy will continue to erode through the arch until the roof become too thin to support itself. Eventually it will collapse, leaving an isolated pillar, and this pillar is called a stack.
These kinds of geography features can attract tourism and on the other hand, develop local economy. People love to name these features with metaphor or simile. I wanna to name this rock as "lonely heart" because this rock is really lonely. Do u agree??

dinosaur overseeing the sea
Through this blog, I'll talk about the formation of this fantastic landform I learned form my Geography class.
The first step in the process of headland erosion is the formation of a cave. A sea cave is formed by the forces of the sea, waves erode the rock face of a coast line, produce huge caverns.Already existing caves are continously eroded by coastal erosion and the water starts to widen the cave. Further erosion of the cave will result in a natural arch. This is formed when the wave's erosional power cuts through the headland. This scenery "Kongling Tan Hai " is actually a natural arch.
Based on my geography knowledge, after thousands of years, this scenery will become a stack and finally it will be a stump.Because wave energy will continue to erode through the arch, especially its roof. Then the roof will become too thin to support itself. Eventually it will collapse, leaving an isolated pillar called a stack. The stack, will then, be further eroded until it is all broken down into small pieces of rocks known as stumps which is an isolated upstanding rocks .
So, after thousands of years, this view will no longer exist as the coastal erosion continuous. The shape of this rock will change. Maybe this view will be called "lonely pillar" or something.

NOT ABOUT GEOGRAPHY,JUST ENJOY IT!!
Recently,I love this song very much and began to like TVXQ. Let's enjoy this song!!
MengDong River
Mengdonghe River is situated 80km southeast of Zhangjiajie city. Between a remote canyon limestone cliffs. It is a beautiful river that is ranked among the top ones in china.
Look at this picture,we,the young geographers can tell the river is at its youth stage. Because a river in youth stage can cut a deep V-shaped valley as the fast moving water transport materials downstream. MengDongRiver is also dominanted by erosion as the turbulent water allows for little deposition to occur. We can also see various sizes of boulders along the river bed.In addition, the waves on the river can be seen easily , which indicates that the velocity of water is very fast.
When we were drifting, along the two sides of the river, limestone caves were everywhere, river was all in curves, water was so clear~~
This picture drives me to recall the fascinated experience when I was drifting. If you want to drift,MengDong River is really a worth place for you to visit.

Tian Men Mountain
The beautiful scenery of Tian Men mountain.
I have travelled to ZhangJiaJie which is a nice city in Hu Nan province in the south part of China.Zhang Jia Jie is at 110°27′-110°53′east longitude and 29°20′-29°24′north latitude.Zhang Jia Jie is famous for her beautiful attractive mountains and clear .unique rivers. The most impressed moutain in my memory of Zhang Jia Jie is Tian Men Mountain.
The typical karst land scape, with limestone rocks covered is the feature of this mountain. In combination with the local climates, create a natural bonsai garden. The clmate her is wild and wet. Not very hot in summer but very wet in winter. At the foot is the 10000㎡Tian Men Mountain temple, the Buddhist center of western Hunan.
Another feature here is Tian Men Cave, the collapse of the mountain with the opening of the cave in 263AD is one of the so-called Six Unsolved Mysteries.
Even though it is called a cave, it is a natural bridge. It is 130m high and about 30m wide." It crosses a part of the mountain , a rock with vertical walls, which is about 70m thick, which results in a cave lenth of 60m, about half its height." This fits the defination of an arch and natural bridge." Tian Men Mountain translates to Gate To Heaven, which is also the name of an infamous in Peking."
Tian Men Cave became world famous ,hen a group of World Aerobatics crossed it first bt plane . I is also listed in the Guiness Book of Records for the first time a cave was cross by plane. This Aerobatic is called Peter Besenyei, a Hungarian Aerobatics Champion winner. The flight was sent on TV abd watched by people around the world. Then, another nine players all crossed the cave successfully.
Tian Men Mountain Cable Car and the snake -like road.
Looking at this picture. You can see cable cars as well as the snake-like roads. This road is called "The Road to the Gate of Heaven". In the south of China , the roads are always bult like this.Due to the mountaineous landscape, the road constructers have to buld the roads like this. This is a big different between the roads in the south part of China and the road in north part of China.
This is really a good tourist spot for travellers.
