Tian Men Mountain

The beautiful scenery of Tian Men mountain.

I have travelled to ZhangJiaJie which is a nice city in Hu Nan province in the south part of China.Zhang Jia Jie is at 110°27′-110°53′east longitude and 29°20′-29°24′north latitude.Zhang Jia Jie is famous for her beautiful attractive mountains and clear .unique rivers.The most impressed moutain in my memory of Zhang Jia Jie is Tian Men Mountain.

The typical karst land scape, with limestone rocks covered is the feature of this mountain. In combination with the local climates,create a natural bonsai garden. The clmate her is wild and wet. Not very hot in summer but very wet in winter. At the foot is the 10000㎡Tian Men Mountain temple,the Buddhist center of western Hunan.

Another feature here is Tian Men Cave, the collapse of the mountain with the opening of the cave in 263AD is one of the so-called Six Unsolved Mysteries.

Even though it is called a cave, it is a natural bridge. It is 130m high and about 30m wide." It crosses a part of the mountain , a rock with vertical walls,which is about 70m thick,which results in a cave lenth of 60m, about half its height." This fits the defination of an arch and natural bridge." Tian Men Mountain translates to Gate To Heaven, which is also the name of an infamous in Peking."

Tian Men Cave became world famous ,hen a group of World Aerobatics crossed it first bt plane . I is also listed in the Guiness Book of Records for the first time a cave was cross by plane. This Aerobatic is called Peter Besenyei, a Hungarian Aerobatics Champion winner.The flight was sent on TV abd watched by people around the world. Then,another nine players all crossed the cave successfully.

Tian Men Mountain Cable Car and the snake -like road.

Looking at this picture. You can see cable cars as well as the snake-like roads. This road is called "The Road to the Gate of Heaven". In the south of China , the roads are always bult like this.Due to the mountaineous landscape, the road constructers have to buld the roads like this.This is a big different between the roads in the south part of China and the road in north part of China.

This is really a good tourist spot for travellers.
